In Montreal!
After seven and half hours long ride, I finally arrived in Montreal last night. While the temperature slightly raised in Toronto and caused raining and the disappearance of shallow snow layers, it is a truely white Christmas in Montreal. Sleets turn into piles of snows on the sides of highway. Luckily, it's not as cold as I imagined.

Christmas in Montreal!
It's like Toronto is not cold enough for me. I will be spending my Christmas week in Montreal. To do what? Catch the tail of the breaking-record-snowfall maybe.

Christmas tree!
Maya ruin, my next dream destination!
The lately dug-up painting masterpiece 2000-year-old Mayan mural in Guatemalan jungle (found in 2001) gives me another reason beside Cancun beach and Chichen Itza to go to Mexico. You can still see the lively color of the well-preserved mural from this picture.

Winter finally arrived!
It's been like real winter in Toronto since the first biggest snow fall of the year last week. I like to look out of windows and watch the flurries quickly cover up the land and prepare everything for another once-in-a-year hibernation. However, walking on slipery icy ground with a high heel is entirely another experience.
I am grateful that at least I am sheltered, though it's really quite cold in my little apartment.
